Karla Hamelin |
Karla Hamelin, originally from Winnipeg, Manitoba in Canada, is currently a doctoral student in cello performance at UT. Before moving to Austin, Karla received her Bachelor of Music Education in Early Musical Development from the University of Manitoba in Canada. After teaching for a year, Karla received her Masters Degree in Cello Performance from the University of Michigan. Karla has attended many music festivals in both Canada and the U.S. and performed in numerous cello masterclasses. This is Karlašs first year with the UT String Project.
