The University of Texas String Project has a long history of educating string teachers as well as players. String Project teachers are mostly graduate students, but some are also doctoral degree students. The teachers come from all over the world, often having gained a great deal of teaching experience and training before they joined the String Project. While in String Project, they continue to receive training and participate in workshops with nationally and internationally recognized pedagogues.
